Preventive Care Services

Our preventive services are geared to establishing your dental health, then maintaining it with daily habits. Early detection is the key to avoiding costly, more involved dental treatment. Prevention begins with the control of your normal oral bacteria or plaque, which is the main cause of cavities and gum disease. With regular dental visits, we can treat cavities and gum disease at an early stage. We use the latest technology to thoroughly examine your teeth, gums, and bone which supports the teeth. We emphasize the importance of home care, demonstrate proper hygiene techniques and customize cleanings for each patient.

Fillings & Restorative Services

We emphasize comprehensive care using only the latest materials and techniques to design and achieve an optimal smile. When it comes to restorative care, we approach things conservatively, trying to save as much natural tooth structure as possible while restoring function and aesthetics where needed.

Root Canal Treatment

When decay has damaged or already killed the nerve of the tooth, root canal treatment is needed. This procedure can relieve toothache, promote healing, and prevent the development of painful infections that may spread.

Crowns and Bridges

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that is placed over a tooth, covering the tooth to restore its shape, size, strength, and/or to improve appearance. A dental bridge replaces the space created by one or more missing teeth. It is made up of two crowns, one for each tooth on either side of the gap and a false tooth/teeth in between. Crowns and bridges can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain or a combination of these materials.

Complete & Partial Dentures

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available – complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. We also offer the esthetic, metal-free partial dentures.

Onlays & Inlays

As opposed to using silver fillings or preparing an entire crown, this approach conserves the tooth structure, thereby promoting strength while remaining highly esthetic. These indirect fillings are made in a dental laboratory and require two visits before being placed. They are considered when not enough tooth structure remains to support a filling but the tooth is not so severely damaged that it needs a crown.

Implants

Despite improvements in dental care, millions of Americans suffer tooth loss mostly due to tooth decay, gum disease, or injury. For many years, the only treatment options available for people with missing teeth were bridges and dentures. But today dental implants are available. An implant is a titanium cylinder, which is surgically placed into the bone, replacing the root of a missing tooth. A crown is then made to fit right on top of the implant. Implants provide a strong foundation for fixed (permanent) or removable replacement teeth that are made to match your natural teeth.

Oral Surgery

The goal of our dental practice is to prevent tooth loss and for you to keep your natural teeth for as long as possible. First, we carefully analyze your particular situation and determine whether extraction is the best option. Sometimes, there are situations in which extraction is the only course of treatment. If so, we take all the time necessary to explain the procedure, allay any fears, and keep you comfortable. And in cases where a specialist is advisable, we will provide an excellent and trustworthy referral.

Periodontal Services for Gum Disease

A major cause of tooth loss in adults is periodontal disease. Since it is relatively painless and unnoticeable in the early stages it may go undetected until it is too late. Without treatment, it leads to bone loss, tooth damage and eventually tooth loss. To prevent the loss of teeth from periodontal disease, we emphasize prevention education, monitor potential problems, chart meticulously, and employ the latest therapies.
